Faster than your own shadow

A performance club with its own lab for runners, riders, swimmers, court players and lifters who want measured progress, not more hours.

Only forward®

Every member starts with a lab test and leaves each block with a retest. The plan in between is written from those numbers, not from a template.

One coach, one engine, five sports. Whether you chase a marathon, a tie-break or a deadlift, the work is measured the same way.

How the method works
  1. 01

    Test

Two hours in the lab: threshold, VO₂, gait or stroke on video and your strength ratios.

  2. 02

    Train

Twelve weeks written from those numbers and adjusted every Sunday by your coach.

  3. 03

    Transfer

Race-specific blocks, then a retest, so the gain shows up where it counts: on the clock.

Tested Monday. Faster by spring

Every block starts with a measurement and ends with a retest. You see what changed in numbers you can check, not in a feeling after a hard week.

Inside the lab

Breathe. Move. Repeat.

Running

Run, ride, swim, court, strength. The sport changes; the questions don't: where your threshold sits, what limits it and what moves it fastest.

Mixed weeks are welcome. One engine profile serves every sport you train.

Bring the sport you love. We bring the lab, the plan and a coach who has raced it.

Coached by people who still race

Every coach holds a sport-science degree and a current race licence. You keep the same coach from the first test to the last retest.

What the lab sees

Four measures decide most of your plan. We read them on the treadmill, the bike, in the flume or on court, then again at every retest.

Breath gas, blood lactate, force plates and video at 240 frames a second. The report is yours the same day, in plain words and in the raw files.

A week at Arcline

Sessions run before work and after it, so training fits a life instead of replacing it. Most members mix three sports in one week.

  1. Monday

    Retest and easy spin

06:30 · Lab and bike room

A short read of last week's data with your coach, then forty easy minutes.

Members, retested

  • “The gait video found in ten minutes what three seasons of sore shins never told me: my left foot.”

  • “The strength block alone put real pace on my serve. My doubles partner noticed before I did.”

Recovery is part of the rep

Adaptation happens after the session. The recovery suite is open to every member, and your coach books it into your week like any interval.

  • Cold plungeFour degrees, three minutes, after the hard days.
  • SaunaHeat blocks before races in warm weather.
  • PhysioWeekly slots, booked by your coach before a niggle becomes an injury.
  • Sleep coachingHeart-rate variability and sleep read every morning.

Before your first test

Still unsure? Call the club and a coach will answer, usually the one you'll train with.

Do I need to be fit already?

No. The first test sets your starting point, whatever it is. Most members start from three sessions a week or fewer.

What happens in the lab test?

Two hours: a short interview, a ramp test on a treadmill, bike or in the flume with breath gas and lactate readings, a gait or stroke video and a strength screen. You leave with a report the same day.

Can I train for more than one sport?

Yes. Plans are built from one engine profile, so a runner who also plays tennis gets one week that serves both.

How often do I retest?

At the end of every block: twelve weeks on Base and Build, eight on Peak.

Can I pause my membership?

Any time, for injury, travel or a new baby. Your data and your plan wait for you.

Is there parking and a shower?

Bike racks, ten parking spaces and showers with towels at the club.
